Personality is a song written by Johnny Burke (lyrics) and Jimmy Van Heusen for Dorothy Lamour to perform in the 1946 film Road to Utopia. The song became a number one Billboard hit for Johnny Mercer in 1946 (Lamour was between record contracts at the time of the film's release so she did not record the song until years later).
Forty years later the song was rewritten as a commercial jingle for Wesson cooking oil and sung by Florence Henderson as "Wessonality".

Lyrics
Everybody stop here's what I'm offeringEverybody look at me
You tried to be on top, boy, you tried everything
But this is the new place to be
Go go go! Let's go get excited
I said Go go go! Time to Ignite
Go go go! Your Personality
Oh oh oh oh You can't get out
Oh oh You're trapped in yourself
Oh oh oh oh You scream, you shout
Oh oh oh oh Can't get out
Welcome to your life the new reality
That's what you're supposed to be
As easy as it gets forget the agony
Yourself is what you get for free
[Chorus]
Oh oh oh oh You can't get out
Oh oh You're trapped in yourself
Oh oh oh oh You scream, you shout
Oh oh oh oh Can't get out
Oh oh oh oh You can't get out
Oh oh You're trapped in yourself
Oh oh oh oh You scream, you shout
Oh oh oh oh Can't get out
Can I get out
